[MAKEUPS] KISS ME Heroine Make

Hello blog,

Lately I haven't done much shopping besides clothes because we all know summer is here and the need for new clothes is in HIGH demand lolz. Even so, I also took some time to do some makeup shopping because we know I can't resist the calling of beauty lolz. I decided to change my taste a bit by trying out Japanese products! Instead of reading reviews about certain products, I just go ahead and picked a brand to try it out to see how I like then, NOT how others like them hehehehe.
My 1st pick happens to be this cute looking package of KISS ME Heroine Make. I swear I don't even know the name for sure, just Googled up the name after I bought it -.- so if I have the name wrong, please kindly let me know and I will correct it hehehehe.
For this brand, I'm trying out the press powder, mascara, and lashes glue lolz. Let's get to the main point now!

01. KISS ME Heroine Make: mineral BB loose powder

Pros: It is BB! LOLZ love the feel of its smoothness on my skin and the powder isn't too over powering or too white on the skin (you just have to pick the right color for your skin, I think they have no. 1 - no. 2? I have to check on it hehehehe) Give your skin the natural look that you are seeking for. If you pick the one with rose scent, then you will have that scent lingering on your skin, quite light and endearing.

Cons: since it uses its own sponge, that is a challenge for me. I had had a hard time with pressing and trying to get the powder on the sponge and then on my skin, it took me ten attempts at it T.T maybe I'm not too use to it, anyone want to show me how to use those sponges? I'm serious about that question. And using the brush is killing the purpose and you will get the mineral everywhere on your makeup table (happened to me, failed miserably 。・゚・(*ノД`*)・゚・。)

02. KISS ME Heroine Make: long and curl Mascara

Pros: exactly as stated! It will curl your lashes and make them long, if you follow the instruction in the back on how to use it hehehehe it is best to use with falsies as well (fake lashes). After brushing it on, use a curler to press the real lashes with the falsies together, give awesomely perfect lashes. And i think it is waterproof, so it helps to keep on for along time.

Cons: you have to dip the brush twice to get the look or furl you want, and because it is waterproof, when you mess up your lashes, you have to clean it well, really well.

03. Heroine make: lashes fix aka glue for falsies

Pros: Love how long it stick on your eyes, and cause no irritation, A+! Even though it is a white color at first but it will change into black after being out in the air for a few seconds, perfect for those that always use black eyeliner like me hehehehe. It is a brush glue so it is easy to use and control, you won't have the problem of excessive glue on your eyes or something. And no hurting your eyes when you pull your lashes out, PERFECT!

Cons: No much, since it works so good for me. Only problem is that it takes time to dry and when it does, it stick on like magnet heheh.

So that's it for now!
See you all next time~ XDDD

{Make-Up} Mascaras & Brow Filler

Hello my blog~!

Ok i've been MIA-ing for the past weeks//months....don't remember anymore T.T sorry ~

Anyway~ I'm here for the last patch of my makeup post~ So before I left for Vegas...two months ago T.T yes i know it's like...FOREVER since that but hey at least I try to write something here XDDD

So due to the fact that I would be in Vegas to celebrate my friend's bday, I rewarded myself with make-up shopping spree and of course new hair style...hence...explaining my blonde hair XDDD So I told myself i need a brow filler with a lighter color to lighten my natural brows...i love them but they are too dark to go with my current light hair color. And I was so glad that I went! XDD My intention was only to buy the filler but don't trust girl and shopping, I got a mascara as an extra after that bought *rolls*

1. BOBBY BROWN Pencil (brow filler)
PROS: Love the color! Perfect ashed blonde to go with my blonde hair color~ You can tell the color blend in with my natural brows and it makes everything a quick go for everyday make-up! I love that the pencil is easy to use and the led is very soft, plus a bit of a cool feeling? Maybe because I always keep it in a cool area and away from the sun *shrugs* The other end is a perfect sync with the color~ it makes all my work much easier~ XD
CONS: It ran out fast! I mean, I have been using it for two months now...no, scratch that! One month and a week now and I almost run out of it. I don't normally put a lot on my brows, so I'll say i'm a moderate user...or LESS user in other cases. I have a feeling I might need to go get myself another one soon if I keep my blonde hair color for the next round. I'm not saying that it's bad, it's just imagine if I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY (which i'm not, only like 5 days a week or less), I would have bought my second one by now. Since it's a pencil, you must have a sharpener for it. Not all make-up pencil has the same width, so if you don't have one yet, prepared yourself for buying one. If you get it at Sephora, then you have to pay like $10 more i think? for the sharpener. I'm just saying. If you already have one, good! if not, buy one.

2. BENEFIT They're REAL Mascara

I love to try out new things, so when a sale associate recommended this to me, of course I bought it.
PROS:  Love the length it gives me (not as much but there is the length) and I love the end ball at the tip of the brush, it makes all the edges of the corner of my eyes much easier to brush~ So I will have full mascara eyes, NOT just the middle of it. It separates all of my lashes, gives this real and natural look and I love it!
CONS: If you have long lashes by natural, this is PERFECT for you. But if you are like me (Asian, light lashes, and not too long but not too short lashes) then you better not get it. When I applied it on, I feel like it's not there. I have to find aid in my Givenchy (which I'll talk about in the next entry, along with its other sisters). Since this one only focus on length, it will not give you the volume that you want. So think about what lashes you are, before buying it. It's a good mascara but it's not exactly the one for me. Therefore, this will be the last time I buy it.

That's all~ next time, we talk about Givenchy and you will be amazed at how much I love my buys XDDD *HUG* & *KISSES*

P.S: I know no one would do this, but if there is any cosmetic brand you want me to try, go ahead and let me know. I will try them on and tell you how I feel about it. ^^

Anyway~ until the next entry! XD

[MAKE-UPS] Random Boughts

Dear blog,

Here I am again ^^

As promise, another make-up patch is on the way! kekekekek

So introduction for today: Lip gloss & eyelashes glue kekekke

MAKEMANIA DATA: HAPPY STRAWBERRY DATE!
Pros: Strawberry is the lovely flavor and it tastes like a sweet nectar kekekek It gives this 3D look as it promotes on the wrapper. Your lips look so full and plum that it's so irresistible. The radiant from center lips toward outter lips, make your lips look yummy and ready to ravish (ok i'm being weird LOL) What i love best? the sweet natural look of your lips and it went well with fair complex skin.

Cons: It wear off quick, you have to constantly apply it on after a few hours.

DARKNESS: Eyelashes Glue & Double Eyelid
Pros: Clear color is perfect! Super glue! Stay on all day! When take off, it won't make you go "FUCK! MY LASHES ARE COMING OUT WITH IT!" kekekke I haven't tried the eyelid one, since it's new to me, but once I do, I'll tell you how it goes kekekeke

Cons: Just like any other glue, the brush turns dried quick after a few uses, and that sticky crumbs around the lid, which i hate! However, it's partial my fault too for not capped the lid. So lesson from me: ALWAYS CAP UR GLUE BOTTLE! ^^

That's all for today~ I'm in a hurry so next time it is~ and have a wonderful day everyone ^^

[MAKE-UPS] Trying out some Korean brands ^^

Dear blog~

Here I am again~ ^^

So today, I proudly present to you the make-ups that I bought a few months ago (I know I'm super late in updating and all T.T) Anyway~ now shall we get back to business? LOL *HUG*

As you have known, after tried out Etude House, I have this obsession with Korean makeups. I love the vibrant their products give me whenever I apply them on, so enough said. LOL After tried out that brand, I moved to other brand and see what else I can add to my collection (definitely NO MISSA! It gave me nasty allergic reaction T.T)

An overview of what I bought last time ^^ so red-base color, I know LOL

THE FACE SHOP:  Lovely ME:EX BB Cream SPF 20 PA++
Pros: Just like any other BB cream, it gives the smoothness that fits my skin color (i'm not super pale guys, I still have that bronzeness in me LOL), it fades out most of the imperfection. If you apply it a bit thicker, it gives the "whiteness" that you girls asking for. So my recommendation: 1 layer for natural look, 2 layers for snow white skin look. LOL It's my favorite, because it doesn't give me the freaking allergic reaction that I hate! >.< and this just gives me the cutesy feeling whenever i put it on (ok now that is so out of line)

Cons: It won't stay long. I always have to apply after makeup mineral to keep the makeups on. After wearing it for about 3-4 hours, you can feel the makeup is wearing off. I always have to have my urban decay De-Slick with me all the time, in case this wearing off.

ETUDE HOUSE: Sweet Eye Cupcake (#03 Peach & Honey)
Pros: Natural color, giving this sweet innocent look. The peachy (pink part) blends well with my skin tone that it seems like I don't wear any eye shadow at all, yet still give my eyes the definition that I'm asking for.

Cons: since it gives that natural look, only wear it during day time. Night time would kill the purpose of this one. In order to be able for the color to be seen on pictures, you have to apply A LOT! Now that tells you how natural this will give you LOL.

ETUDE HOUSE: Dear My Blooming Cheek: Highlighter + Brush (#PK001)
Pros: PERFECT! Light pink always goes well with my skin tone (after applying foundation of course). As always, this lives up to Etude House's sweet and romantic look. ^^ even with this "dark" palate, it still gives that light color.

Cons: don't try to take pictures with it. You might feel like "I have NO BLUSH!" Unless you are doing a super awesome photoshoot, then yeah you will need to apply a WHOLE DAMN LOT for it to be seen.

TONY MOLY: Cat Chu Wink Gloss (#07 Wonder Orange)

Have I told you that the main reason I bought this is because of the cat cap? LOL yea, that's the reason I ordered it. And then, peachy flavor comes into play and it's all perfect again.

Pros: PEACHY FLAVOR! The sweet scent of candy with a fruity scent makes your mind explodes with its sweetness. Too bad, you can't taste it T.T since it's a lipgloss. You all know what lip glosses do, give you that rosy gloss color, that seems like your lips are shining. Due to its peachy theme, the color is pale orange, quite matching my skin tone, giving this perfect complexion mixture between your lip lines and your skin tone.

Cons: it dries up my lips quickly. Maybe because my lips are naturally dried, so after a few hours (I'll say 2), my lips start to chap up and it feels gross and nasty. I think it's just me or the weird weather California is sporting lately. >.<

That's it~ my next entry might be about another makeup patch LOL so looking forward to it? kekekek *HUG* have an awesome night (or day) everyone~

[Make-ups] CANDY DOLL, MISSA, & MODEL'S SELECTION

Hello lovelies~

Ok i'll use this entry for my makeup kekeke~ it has been such a long LONG LONG time that I last used lashes >.> blame the awesomely cruel weather of summer~ don't get me wrong, i love summer to death but it's just that it's too hot for any false lashes. Even with heavy makeup I feel like suffocating >.< And also because I haven't been myself lately, which is sad! I love my sarcastic, bitchy and totally "overdoing shit" lifestyle, that feels great. Being a goody two shoes is suck! lolz

Anyway, enough with my ranting~ just a bit on that I have finally gotten myself back and whatever happens in summer vacation period up until now are nothing but vain lolz~

Cool cool~ now back to this~ So seeing that my collection of makeup has a sufficient number in low supplies, I decided to give myself a little treat by of course get to my car and drive out to buy more~ kekkekke being a fan of gyaru fashion (i'm not an avid, just a beginner) false lashes can't be missing from the makeup kit!

It seems that I have fallen back to my all-time favorite brand: MODEL'S SELECTION

Well it's easy to see why:
1. No irritation
2. Easy to put on
3. Vary style to choose from
4. Freaking gorgeous as always
I'll confess, I have tried other less known brand and they didn't satisfy me as this, and the worst, the freaking endings keep poking the corners of my eyes, making my eyes all red and teary which i hate so much! Therefore, I have decided to stick to a more well-known brand like this or Candy Doll (which i always love kekeke) But for now, my ultimate favorite is still MODEL'S SELECTION!
It's not that I'll stop here, I'll explore more brand in the future too but for the time being, I'll try all different style of this brand and tell you how it is kekekek *HUG*

NEXT!

I FINALLY GOT MYSELF BB CREAM! from MISSA

LOL i know it's not something to scream about but i just get so excited~ i have always told myself that I should get one but never know how to pick one >.> me and foundation//base cream are hard to get along~ but I finally try to get to know them kekkekek
Since it's my first time trying, i bought a small bottle kekeke always be on the safe side, right? I only used it first time yesterday, I can't tell much but one thing I have to agree~ it gave my skin the radiant that I want~ and so smooth~ not like doll face as I have heard someone stated at the market the other day which is an insult to the product~ (i'm overly protective I know LOL) for me, it gave me the natural color and even out my make up to give my skin the liveliness that it wants~ totally in love with it ^^

LAST BUT NOT LEAST!

CANDY DOLL LIP GLOSS!
Love the pout! Perfect texture~ and yup a lip gloss's job is to give that cute pout on the lips! the shiny gloss creates the luscious of it! What's so wrong about a fully pout lips? it's cute~ and this works it magic like wonder! totally in love and the best part: it stays on longer than most gloss ^^

To final it up~ Here are the pics of me with the above products ^^

FIN~ that's all kekeke
I shall get back to my writing now *HUG* and until the next entry *HUG*

{Make-Ups} Dior Blush & Urban Decay Foundation

Hello my lovely blog,

Once again it has been forever that I'm updating again LOL it has become a routine now I guess. Hopefully I don't make it a habit, since I have been lazy lately >.< thanks to school and such. Anyway, today I just want to share a bit of what I bought the other weekS! LOL Just a little review I guess.

Let's get into the main point!

1. Urban Decay - De-Slick Mattifying Powder
Love it for many reasons: 1. Colorless! this is just wonderful! 2. Can be used as base or over the make-up! Since it doesn't have thick layer like other powder products, just make it wonderful whenever we need a little touch-up on our make-up after a wild dance time at the club or at certain time of the day. 3. Leave skin smooth and no-cake-smudge effect! Can apply for many time without feeling the powder stuck there forever XD It's just nice!
Down side: 1. it has this spice type of scent, not really mixing well with my D&G perfume, I have to use other perfume to match with its scent so it won't be too obvious. 2. The pad is kinda thin and small, supposedly to stick to the mirror; so you have to really PRESS or CIRCULATING the pad on the surface in order to get a good amount of powder on the pad

2. Dior - DiorBlush - Strawberry Sorbets #943
I admit it! I'm a Dior-lover so it might be a bit bias on this but I'll try to be fair.
Love it!: 1. come with its own soft cover, so the case will not be damaged I guess; i think that is really convenience, like when you want to bring it around, just put it in a little pocket of its own and into your purse. 2. the color is WONDERFUL! Since it is a dual-texture, one side is shimmering and the other is velvety matte; you can chose to put on one or the other; and if you feel like it, you can mix them both together and they make AWESOME shade! 3. The brush is soft on the skin, it's a plus for me because my skin is quite sensitive, so even with a small scratch from the rough brush, I can feel the burning sensation >.> 4. I love the rosy pink this color code created and it tone up your skin perfectly, mixed well with the skin and make you becoming more lively, for those that are late-night sleeper and not very awake in the morning, this helps to bring out the shine ^^
Down side: The color fades so fast! I did put on a lot but it won't last long, have to keep on retouching it LOL

Ok, that's all for my review~ I don't know what I'm going to write next, maybe about my new contact lens? I ordered them last week, they should be here by tomorrow I hope ^^

Before I go, this is a pic of my recent make-up, was inspired by CL because my hon suggested me to try it out ^^

That's it!

See you all in the next! XDDDDDD

{Make-Up} URBAN DECAY & {Clothes} O.C. DESIGNS

1. URBAN DECAY Lipstick!

I've been owning this lipstick for as long as I can remember now; however, it didn't look like I have showed it to everyone of its awesomeness! The color# HOTPANTS ! LOL i know the name has already spoken for its daring characteristic! However, what interested me at first sight is actually the design of the lipstick. A sword like at one end, you can't stand it like any other, but you have to have it upside down, having the sword as your handle. The cap of the lipstick is totally unique with its random seahorses, butterflies, and skulls mixing with random curling lines; giving off this bewilder feeling to its cap (Btw, Urban Decay also has the cap for these kind of lipstick on sell, and guess how much they worth? $20! yup, just for the cap itself).

What I like?  Giving your lips the freshness of pink, and the color becoming vivid when meet with air, drawing out the sexiness of your lips. Very unique! And the scent, FANTASTIC! For this color, it's sea butter; for me, it tastes like butter bread, so edible but don't eat it LOL

And how does it look on me?
LOL yup~ i love its color! XDDDD

2. O.C. DESIGNS Shirt!

It was my first time visiting this store, not to mention it was my first time to shop at this Westminster Mall, because I don't live around there? LOL Well, basically, it's a new store, and I decided to give it a try, you never know what you would find there right? And boy! I'm glad I did give it a try. They have rare designs, mostly fitting for Asian style in my honest opinion. So if you are looking for something cute yet Asian, go to O.C Designs in Wesminster Westfield Mall; and the prices are not expensive, mostly everything is under $20 as far as I've seen.

Anyway, back to what I'm going to show. I wanted something new for my closet, yet I want a hoodie-style! Because it's winter now in Los Angeles, and at night, it would drop to below 40 Fahrenheit (below 10 Celsius). So a hoodie is very helpful when I decide to have a Starbucks night out, in which I does so often LOL. And this piece makes me fall in love with it at first sight! Literally LOL
A different lightning? Sure!
I love the hoodie on this one, it actually does its job! Not like some style where they have hoodie for show, if you know what I mean. So I can cover my face when I'm not in a good mood, seeing that I get cranky often during winter LOL the cold season irritates me LOL

Alrighty~ that's all for now~ Maybe next entry about the other pieces? That would be fun XDDDD Until then y'all! XD

[Make-Up] GIVENCHY PHENOMEN' EYES MASCARA

Went to Sephora today to use my $20 Reward Gift Card; mom did tell me that she needs a new set of mascara because hers is almost running out; and so do I. Therefore, the trip to Sephora this time is only for MASCARA!

Mom's favorite of all time is Dior Iconic Noir, she has been using it for over a year now and I have got to say that this baby does its job well! 1. Curl the lashes, 2. Volume them up, 3. Lengthen them! So it's a 3-in-1 combination, it's amazing, no need to express my love for Dior Iconic.

However, unlike mom, I'm getting a bit tired of Dior mascara, and really want to try something new this time around. I've seen GIVENCHY for a long time now but I was leery in trying it out, seeing that it is a ball-brush, I was not sure if it would work the magic it promotes. Well, we never know the result until we try right? So I give this baby a try~

I just tried it on now, one thing I have to say: it was strange to use a ball-brush for a first timer like myself LOL but it seems to work its magic well, love the way it volumes up my lashes and lengthen it as well! One plus to this, it's perfect for bottom lashes, with the ball-brush, it's easier to hoover the brush over the bottom lashes and darkening them; no smearing!

Here are pictures of the product!

And a picture of how wonderful this baby works its magic on my lashes XD See them curling? XD
Wiii~ XDD that's all for now!

{Make Up} Back to Bronze~

Hmmm...last week was my "boring" week because of the quizzes and the tests for the mid-quarter. So I spent my night studying for them to the point that I only had like 2 hours of sleep each day. The very reason for me to wake up late in the morning and was in a rush to head to school (an hour drive in the morning is not really a fun activity to be honest) That's why my make-up concept was not really awesome and not very much to brag. I went with the bronze concept, because it is: 1) the fastest I can do in rush hour, 2) the mix always looks awesome regardless of what tone you apply, and 3) it goes great with any day LOL

I did use some guideline for the eyeliner, because for bronze color, the beautiful of it is the liner, the liner helps to define the eyes, that's why I need good liner for my eyes. I'll upload the map guide at later time.

This is the outcome of the bronze concept for both day~ ^^

We can see how sleepy I was that day, so yea please ignore the "drooping eyes" T.T moving forward, I bought new lashes the other day and did try them on yesterday. Really like how they look. I'll write about them tomorrow or so, after I have all of the pics correct and all LOL Plus i just made some new mix tone for "brownish ashes" color XD they look cool XD

Alrighty, until next time~ *HUG*

{Make-Up} PopSister Eyemake Theme

Hello My Closet! XD
This time I was having trouble in choosing color theme. Originally, I was thinking of naked color or glitter brownish, then neon light blue eyeliner/shadow on top of black eyeliner. However, in the morning, I was 1) woke up late, 2) still in my hazy trend (only had 1 hour of sleep ), and 3) totally forgot about my original idea. Therefore, I picked up random mag in my stacks of magazines and came across this Greenish theme. So pretty much, my make-up that day was solely based on the instruction in that book. So in the honor of that magazine that saved my "make-up crisis" moment, I named that day's make-up: POPSISTER!GREENiISH BLUE STYLE!
If you ask me why, the answer is simple: I don't have LIGHT blue color, so I used light GREEN instead LOL  And once again, the brand for this theme color are: Urban Decay (the light green) & CoverGirl (all them blue and white).
Here is the map/guide to the make up:
Once again, I skipped the falsies (the fake eyelashes) part, because as I said before, I'm going to school, not club LOL
The step where the light blue supposed to come in, I changed it to light green. That's the reason I changed to the green dress instead for that day
Here is the outcome (once again, in my lovely Matrix LOL)
So yup, that concludes my one week of school (only have 2 days for school WOOT!
Now I need to think what is the next make-up challenge theme be. I know that it'll be grey (dark grey) contact lens for next week. So basic brown?
Alrightie~ I need to get off and head to my readings, quite a lot LOL and a lovely novel waiting for me to finish it

{Make-Up} Mystified Blue EyeMake!

For this special entry, I've decided to try on the one color that I have been advised to stay AWAY from: BLUE!
There are many reasons for why this color is not recommended for me:
1. it's the color of sadness
2. it can make your eyes becoming a "purple eyes" if not mixing in the correct tones
3. Only to add the "blue" feel to the autumn than the "lively" feel of someone in her 20s!

Despite all of those comments, I made up my mind and thought that: If I don't try it out, how would I know for sure? Plus, it's not hurt trying and that's what makeup remover was invented for!
So with that thought in mind, I set out to my first challenge; and I would like to call this style the:
MYSTIFIED BLUE

With the blond hair and the blue contact lens, it's obvious that blue shadow is to come to mind. So my mind was roaming in the thought of radiance, going from darkest to light, and with my double eyelids...(well, sort of since my eyes can go both way in a sense, that's the consequences for being a mix ) this concept of "smokey eyes" was working well in my imagination. However, I did need a little guidance, since after all, we must have a map in order to know which direction to lead! And of course I was more than grateful to have stock myself with stacks after stacks of "Ageha" Magazine!  and from it, I had the map for this eyemake!
So instead of using the bronze/naked/brown color tones in this map, I used the blue tones which I can find through my Urban Decay & CoverGirl eye shadows!
Following this step is the very important make-up pointer for Ajero's style, EYELINER!!!!
I pretty much followed the entire step for the eyeliner; however, I excluded out the fake lashes, 'cause once again, I was off to school, not a night club. And wearing fake lashes for over 12 hours for school is a ridiculous idea in my opinion. I can look awesomely pretty for a night out with my ladies but not for school days .

With that done and all, the final product was out as well, and I was worried that the blue color doesn't show. My friends gave me positive comments on the visibly blue color and the "downside" on the picture being funky. So I used the magic of editing to make it not too funky.
Alrighty, that's the hardwork of mine in the morning before heading off to class. Now I need to think of the theme for the next challenge. I'm thinking pink, but then isn't it too pinky for autumn?  But then again, you never know what my mind might run after, it has its way in making decision LOL

Until the next challenge! Me is now off to read some awesome fanfics!
