{Hairdos} Nothing special, just simple ponytail LOL

Well, even though the title said "Hair-do" it was nothing extraordinary; just ponytail for my mid-length hair. Because letting my hair down for the most part is fun; however, when it comes to time that I want to "rock this outfit" it's more fun to have them up! XD

So I was playing around with my hair as I sat in front of the mirror the other day and then I just let the fingers do their deed and this coming from that boredom.

Basically, I have all of my hair tied up to right side, to have the pony in the side way; leaving about a good small bundle of hair out at the nape area, because I want to have some fun with them? LOL

After the ponytail is tied and up to one side, the hair on the bottom: divide them into three small strands of hair. Take he first strand (considering I was facing the mirror, the first strand of hair is actually the first stand of hair from the right side) and braid them until the end, and then lift up the strand and have it wrap around the pony tail base, take the hair-tie and wrap it as close to the base of the pony as possible, so when it is done, you can hardly see the hair-tie and the braided strand works as the hair tie.

For the last two strands, separate them and let them lay loose on the sides and then braid them, to make a little braided strand sticking out from the nape. XDDD

I know i'm not the best at description but the pictures would speak louder than what I wrote here XDDD

That's all for now~ me is off to go shopping again LOL

Until the next update XDD *HUG*

{Make-Up} URBAN DECAY & {Clothes} O.C. DESIGNS

1. URBAN DECAY Lipstick!

I've been owning this lipstick for as long as I can remember now; however, it didn't look like I have showed it to everyone of its awesomeness! The color# HOTPANTS ! LOL i know the name has already spoken for its daring characteristic! However, what interested me at first sight is actually the design of the lipstick. A sword like at one end, you can't stand it like any other, but you have to have it upside down, having the sword as your handle. The cap of the lipstick is totally unique with its random seahorses, butterflies, and skulls mixing with random curling lines; giving off this bewilder feeling to its cap (Btw, Urban Decay also has the cap for these kind of lipstick on sell, and guess how much they worth? $20! yup, just for the cap itself).

What I like?  Giving your lips the freshness of pink, and the color becoming vivid when meet with air, drawing out the sexiness of your lips. Very unique! And the scent, FANTASTIC! For this color, it's sea butter; for me, it tastes like butter bread, so edible but don't eat it LOL

And how does it look on me?
LOL yup~ i love its color! XDDDD

2. O.C. DESIGNS Shirt!

It was my first time visiting this store, not to mention it was my first time to shop at this Westminster Mall, because I don't live around there? LOL Well, basically, it's a new store, and I decided to give it a try, you never know what you would find there right? And boy! I'm glad I did give it a try. They have rare designs, mostly fitting for Asian style in my honest opinion. So if you are looking for something cute yet Asian, go to O.C Designs in Wesminster Westfield Mall; and the prices are not expensive, mostly everything is under $20 as far as I've seen.

Anyway, back to what I'm going to show. I wanted something new for my closet, yet I want a hoodie-style! Because it's winter now in Los Angeles, and at night, it would drop to below 40 Fahrenheit (below 10 Celsius). So a hoodie is very helpful when I decide to have a Starbucks night out, in which I does so often LOL. And this piece makes me fall in love with it at first sight! Literally LOL
A different lightning? Sure!
I love the hoodie on this one, it actually does its job! Not like some style where they have hoodie for show, if you know what I mean. So I can cover my face when I'm not in a good mood, seeing that I get cranky often during winter LOL the cold season irritates me LOL

Alrighty~ that's all for now~ Maybe next entry about the other pieces? That would be fun XDDDD Until then y'all! XD

[Accessories] GUESS Sunglasses

Well, I used to have the same pair in July, they were in Pink; however, I lost it during my Vietnam Vacation T.T due to my careless personality. I had wanted to find the exact same pair for like months now and when I saw it at the mall during Thanksgiving week, I just couldn't resist! So yup, i bought it and surprisingly there was $25 discount in my reward Guess card. LUCKY! Of course I grabbed the chance right away! XD

Lately I'm into Aviator style~I think I have at least like three pairs of the likes, just different brands LOL I'm weird I know LOL

Oh~ the case is GOLD color btw, So classy with style LOL *Getsshot* don't even bother with me and my little flail XD

And once the sunglasses are on me?
WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ now we all know why I'm in love with them LOL

Until later then, and yea I still haven't trying on the clothes T.T maybe tomorrow? Maybe...LOL

[Accessories] Cell Phone Straps + Earmuffs~

Went to the post office today to check on my package; since it stated that it'd arrived the day before XD I thought only the earmuffs would be here, because that's what the post office tractor posted. However, when I got there, the other package also arrived along with my hon's present, I'm not sure if I should show it here, well it's better be a surprise! XD Hope she will like them XDDD

1. EARMUFFS!
I've wanted to own one like...God knows how long! Because I didn't find anything that is to my liking and even if they do, they are WAY too expensive! I mean $40?! for an earmuffs is a bit much, considering how much I can spend for this winter and to think economically, I might only use it like once this year >.> so yea, not going to spend $40 on stuff that I might not going to use more than once. So I was beyond happy to find it on ebay with only $5, and free shipping! *v*
It's light pink, but the lighting here kills its perfectly pink color LOL
This is with my hon's beanie~ XDD and the color is much better here I bet XD

2. PHONE STRAPS!
New phone straps, just because I feel that i need to be more sparkle and more girlish for Xmas LOL me and my weird logic I know! LOL so I went ahead and get myself these lovely straps! Even my mom goes "ooooo! pretty! and SPARKLE!" LOL She never actually compliments on my straps, believing that I spent way too much on those things; however, I did manage to tell her that I rarely change my straps unless they are more than 1 year old LOL and they are not too expensive (I saw one Rilakkuma phone strap at the price of $30 T.T nearly dropped my eyes out; i love them, just too pricey really LOL)
Took it out from my lovely phone to take picture LOL
This is when it still hanging on my phone, a close up of what the letters said LOL

That's all for tonight folks~ I need to get some sleep, still having the cold~ Hopefully I get to dress up tomorrow and take some amazing pictures of my new clothes XD Maybe I will ask mom for help, she always rolls eyes at me and be like "Why don't you take photography? Such a waste to major in Japanese" LOL No mom, I wish to be able to speak Japanese and at the same time becoming the make-up artist so I can travel the world LOL

{Make-Up} MAKE UP FOREVER Primer & Powder

So some times before Thanksgiving, I went to the mall to supply myself some make up materials, after all it has been such a long time since I last shopped for anything make up related; also I went to receive my lovely 500 points gift Reward! XD

Not going to lie, but I had never known about primer's magical touch until that day, I thought it was really odd to have a layer of base and then a layer of foundation, which would be super thick and I hate to have my skin looked ... like a powder cake! LOL However, I was always wondering why my make-up tend to fade faster by the end of the day; as if I have never actually put anything on. I was super irritated at it. So I went straight to the make-up artist and asked her about my problem. Her answer to my worries?

1. PRIMER!
I was wary at first, 'cause I thought it would be something like a heavily thick cream; however, it turned out to be something that is totally different! It's not 'foundation' as I had thought it is LOL it's more like silky liquid cream, that is liquidity and very thin. I know I was such a noobz but boy, it works its wonder!

2. HD POWDER! for final touch! Well basically it helps to keep the eyemakes and the blush on and not being smear, supposedly and I see that it works well. No smearing and it holds everything in place by the end of the day XD Plus super smooth on the skin~ XD

Those two are like my magical tools~ nothing can go wrong with them and they give me this wonderful look that I've been craving for MONTHS! Yea yea I know that I'm way too behind but hey, I finally catch up on something! LOL I love it when I get to know something and it's wonderful!

Here are the last pic of their combination XD

That's all~ Today I went to the mall and bought two pieces of clothes, maybe I'll write about them when i put them together in an outfit~ XDDDD Hopefully I get to have someone to take the picture for me, I can't take pictures of myself wearing clothes >.> they always come out weirdly and I have no body length mirror LOL

[Make-Up] GIVENCHY PHENOMEN' EYES MASCARA

Went to Sephora today to use my $20 Reward Gift Card; mom did tell me that she needs a new set of mascara because hers is almost running out; and so do I. Therefore, the trip to Sephora this time is only for MASCARA!

Mom's favorite of all time is Dior Iconic Noir, she has been using it for over a year now and I have got to say that this baby does its job well! 1. Curl the lashes, 2. Volume them up, 3. Lengthen them! So it's a 3-in-1 combination, it's amazing, no need to express my love for Dior Iconic.

However, unlike mom, I'm getting a bit tired of Dior mascara, and really want to try something new this time around. I've seen GIVENCHY for a long time now but I was leery in trying it out, seeing that it is a ball-brush, I was not sure if it would work the magic it promotes. Well, we never know the result until we try right? So I give this baby a try~

I just tried it on now, one thing I have to say: it was strange to use a ball-brush for a first timer like myself LOL but it seems to work its magic well, love the way it volumes up my lashes and lengthen it as well! One plus to this, it's perfect for bottom lashes, with the ball-brush, it's easier to hoover the brush over the bottom lashes and darkening them; no smearing!

Here are pictures of the product!

And a picture of how wonderful this baby works its magic on my lashes XD See them curling? XD
Wiii~ XDD that's all for now!

{Make Up} Back to Bronze~

Hmmm...last week was my "boring" week because of the quizzes and the tests for the mid-quarter. So I spent my night studying for them to the point that I only had like 2 hours of sleep each day. The very reason for me to wake up late in the morning and was in a rush to head to school (an hour drive in the morning is not really a fun activity to be honest) That's why my make-up concept was not really awesome and not very much to brag. I went with the bronze concept, because it is: 1) the fastest I can do in rush hour, 2) the mix always looks awesome regardless of what tone you apply, and 3) it goes great with any day LOL

I did use some guideline for the eyeliner, because for bronze color, the beautiful of it is the liner, the liner helps to define the eyes, that's why I need good liner for my eyes. I'll upload the map guide at later time.

This is the outcome of the bronze concept for both day~ ^^

We can see how sleepy I was that day, so yea please ignore the "drooping eyes" T.T moving forward, I bought new lashes the other day and did try them on yesterday. Really like how they look. I'll write about them tomorrow or so, after I have all of the pics correct and all LOL Plus i just made some new mix tone for "brownish ashes" color XD they look cool XD

Alrighty, until next time~ *HUG*

{Make-Up} PopSister Eyemake Theme

Hello My Closet! XD
This time I was having trouble in choosing color theme. Originally, I was thinking of naked color or glitter brownish, then neon light blue eyeliner/shadow on top of black eyeliner. However, in the morning, I was 1) woke up late, 2) still in my hazy trend (only had 1 hour of sleep ), and 3) totally forgot about my original idea. Therefore, I picked up random mag in my stacks of magazines and came across this Greenish theme. So pretty much, my make-up that day was solely based on the instruction in that book. So in the honor of that magazine that saved my "make-up crisis" moment, I named that day's make-up: POPSISTER!GREENiISH BLUE STYLE!
If you ask me why, the answer is simple: I don't have LIGHT blue color, so I used light GREEN instead LOL  And once again, the brand for this theme color are: Urban Decay (the light green) & CoverGirl (all them blue and white).
Here is the map/guide to the make up:
Once again, I skipped the falsies (the fake eyelashes) part, because as I said before, I'm going to school, not club LOL
The step where the light blue supposed to come in, I changed it to light green. That's the reason I changed to the green dress instead for that day
Here is the outcome (once again, in my lovely Matrix LOL)
So yup, that concludes my one week of school (only have 2 days for school WOOT!
Now I need to think what is the next make-up challenge theme be. I know that it'll be grey (dark grey) contact lens for next week. So basic brown?
Alrightie~ I need to get off and head to my readings, quite a lot LOL and a lovely novel waiting for me to finish it

{Make-Up} Mystified Blue EyeMake!

For this special entry, I've decided to try on the one color that I have been advised to stay AWAY from: BLUE!
There are many reasons for why this color is not recommended for me:
1. it's the color of sadness
2. it can make your eyes becoming a "purple eyes" if not mixing in the correct tones
3. Only to add the "blue" feel to the autumn than the "lively" feel of someone in her 20s!

Despite all of those comments, I made up my mind and thought that: If I don't try it out, how would I know for sure? Plus, it's not hurt trying and that's what makeup remover was invented for!
So with that thought in mind, I set out to my first challenge; and I would like to call this style the:
MYSTIFIED BLUE

With the blond hair and the blue contact lens, it's obvious that blue shadow is to come to mind. So my mind was roaming in the thought of radiance, going from darkest to light, and with my double eyelids...(well, sort of since my eyes can go both way in a sense, that's the consequences for being a mix ) this concept of "smokey eyes" was working well in my imagination. However, I did need a little guidance, since after all, we must have a map in order to know which direction to lead! And of course I was more than grateful to have stock myself with stacks after stacks of "Ageha" Magazine!  and from it, I had the map for this eyemake!
So instead of using the bronze/naked/brown color tones in this map, I used the blue tones which I can find through my Urban Decay & CoverGirl eye shadows!
Following this step is the very important make-up pointer for Ajero's style, EYELINER!!!!
I pretty much followed the entire step for the eyeliner; however, I excluded out the fake lashes, 'cause once again, I was off to school, not a night club. And wearing fake lashes for over 12 hours for school is a ridiculous idea in my opinion. I can look awesomely pretty for a night out with my ladies but not for school days .

With that done and all, the final product was out as well, and I was worried that the blue color doesn't show. My friends gave me positive comments on the visibly blue color and the "downside" on the picture being funky. So I used the magic of editing to make it not too funky.
Alrighty, that's the hardwork of mine in the morning before heading off to class. Now I need to think of the theme for the next challenge. I'm thinking pink, but then isn't it too pinky for autumn?  But then again, you never know what my mind might run after, it has its way in making decision LOL

Until the next challenge! Me is now off to read some awesome fanfics!

#1

The main color of this post is GREEN
Summer is still around for another month! I know GREEN is the color of spring, but who says that summer only has red and yellow? Green also has its magical charm when it is put in the right combo!
If the you have a dress with frills, a pair of ankle boots, and sparkle jewelries; you have the whole picture!
Dress from Forever21

Boots from Aldo

Jewelries: 1) Guess necklace, 2) Forever21 sparkle ring, 3) Silver band ring from a random stand.

Hair: Curls! (it's still summer, let your hair play the tunes)
Products: 1) Herbal Essences tousle me softly (apply on damp hair right after shower), 2) Revlon 1/2 in. curl iron (after blow dry hair, curl them!), 3) TreSemme Hair Spray Extra Firm Control for the final touch!

Make-up: blue mix with green (eyelids: dark blue over black eye shadows, neon green on the grease swiping over the blue, black eyeliner: you have just created a mystery for your eyes! it looks blue but it's also green!)

Mineral Foundation: Urban Decay Mineral
Eye shadows: Cover Girl
Eyeliners: 1) Revlon liquid eyeliner-Black; 2) Urban Decay 24/7-Zero aka Black

It's hard to tell the color of the eyes, since it is not for "Photo" but for "normal life" make-up (meaning: not overly use to the point of thickening!)

Note: It was fun to walk around town in this outfit and make up, because the frills help to boost up the cuteness in a girl, and the boots just add one level up for that cuteness. The curl hair helps to create that doll-like image, and the jewelries just to make sure the outfit is not too plain on its own. One small but important fact is due to the narrow yet visible V-neck of the dress that the necklace needs to be in a V-shape type with a short length & simple design enough to be seen. Sparkling ring is to make sure your fingers are not being left alone, silver band ring is to make up for the other hand LOL
*For cold weather, get yourself a trend coat, it fits perfectly fine during night time with this outfit (preferably red one, if not then black always wins)
